Studio and Mobile Gear Recommendations

From time time students and friends as for recommendations for their marketing equipment, training rooms or meeting areas. The following list is a summary of the equipment with affiliate links that I recommend.  There is also something “better” out there, but this is a list of equipment that I’ve found the best for affordable prices.  A lot of trial and error has gone into getting my home studio and mobile setup just right for me.  Hopefully this list will come in hand for you as well.

Where possible I have broken up the recommendations by “Basic” equipment and “YouTuber/Podcaster”.  Basic equipment are those things that every entrepreneur should have and is what I would consider affordable.  YouTuber/Podcaster lists are for those who are aspiring to be more serious about creating content and want the upgraded equipment.

No matter where you are, you should never let the equipment get in the way of creating content.  If you’re new, then use the lamp that you have laying around, the mic on the iPhone, and stack a bunch of books under your MacBook to get the right hight… It doesn’t have to be complicated.  Your gear will grow with your experience and your budget.
