Instructor Development Program
Instructor Development Program
The Classroom, Rewired - Instructor Development Workshop
Duration: 4, 6 or 8 Hours
Real estate instruction has a problem. Most of us learned to teach by watching people who were taught by people who never learned to teach. Meanwhile, the learner in front of you has changed. They’re juggling a phone, a smartwatch, a side hustle, and a brain that’s been trained by TikTok to bail on anything that doesn’t earn its attention in the first few seconds. The old “stand and deliver” model wasn’t great then, and it’s malpractice now.
This 6-hour workshop fixes that. We’ll dig into how adults actually learn in 2026, not the version printed in a textbook from 1998. We’ll talk honestly about the dopamine economy your students live in, and how to design a classroom that competes with the slot machine in their pocket without becoming one yourself. We’ll cover classroom management that works whether you’re in a packed ballroom or a Zoom box full of black squares, content design that respects your students’ time and intelligence, and the proper place for AI as an augmentation of you, not a replacement.
You’ll leave with frameworks for building courses, hooks that earn attention in the first 90 seconds, techniques to handle the agent who wants to argue every slide, AI workflows that cut your prep time in half without flattening your voice, and a sharper sense of who you are at the front of the room. This isn’t a TED Talk about teaching. It’s a working session for instructors who want their students to walk out smarter, more confident, and telling other agents they have to take your class.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Apply current adult learning principles (andragogy, cognitive load theory, and retrieval practice) to real estate course design, replacing lecture-heavy formats with structures that match how today’s professionals actually absorb and retain information.
- Design for the distracted learner by building lessons around attention cycles, pattern interrupts, and engagement loops that compete with the dopamine-driven habits students bring into every classroom.
- Integrate AI as an instructional partner for course development, scenario creation, real-time student feedback, and accessibility, while maintaining the instructor’s authentic voice and professional judgment.
- Manage the live and virtual classroom with techniques for opening strong, redirecting disruptions, handling the chronic challenger, and keeping a Zoom audience engaged when the cameras are off and the chat has gone quiet.
- Build a repeatable instructor framework for content design, delivery, and post-class follow-up that produces consistent results across topics, audiences, and formats, so every class earns the next referral.
Pleased To Present - Instructor Development Workshop
Duration: 2, 4 and 6 Hour Programs
Today’s learners have YouTube, TikTok, and a group chat competing for their attention, and they will absolutely choose any of them over a boring instructor. This session is built for educators who want to stop surviving their virtual and hybrid classes and start owning them. We’ll move past the tech-check checklist and into the real work, designing pre-course experiences that build anticipation, structuring content around cognitive load and the learning pyramid, setting up a hybrid room that actually serves both audiences, and using the tools, gear, and AI workflows that separate a forgettable session from one learners talk about. You’ll leave with a clearer point of view on lectures versus workshops, group work versus crowdsourcing, and the small production choices, lighting, mics, camera angles, moderators, that quietly determine whether your class lands. This is a working session for instructors who already know their content and are ready to deliver it like the medium demands.

The Rockstar Presenting session is designed to give you the skills and tools that highly successful speakers are using to prepare an unprepared industry for the changes that are coming, the demands the learners have today, and the ability to evolve with the world.

Virtual Instruction Development Program
Duration: 4 hours
Description
For many real estate instructors, the classroom is a natural fit, where the instructor has learned to master their space, engage their audience and effectively deliver their message. The transition to an online format creates a new set of opportunities to use a new collection of tools and also build a better and more engaged audience. This program is designed to bridge the gap many instructors face connecting their skills in a classroom setting to a virtual program online. Learners will be given an assortment of engagement techniques, new websites, and virtual tools to use while teaching their students. Learners will also be given recommendations and best practices for acquiring and using equipment for their virtual classroom setup. This program focuses on Zoom as an instruction platform.
